About this template

A nineteenth-century volume of steel engravings of country manors, opened at your plate: one ink, two papers, and copper red for the RSVP alone.

The first screen of Metszetek is the open volume: on the left the title page with your names, the date, the venue and the RSVP; on the right the plate, a steel engraving of a manor house on China paper in a blind-embossed frame. Further down every chapter is another opening of the volume: an engraving facing a page of text, with the programme, the venues, accommodation and travel each beside a plate of its own; the questions are numbered notes, the witnesses the list of subscribers, and at the end the colophon carries your monogram. When it opens you see the inked copper plate with the engraving in mirror image, then the damp sheet is laid over it and lifted to show the printed page. Your own photos appear as plates too, printed in one ink, never with text on them. Gilda Display and Gentium Book Plus type, three colourways: Copper, Steel and Sepia.

  • a wedding at a manor house or castle
  • you love old books and engravings
  • a quiet, one-colour, elegant look

This is the page itself, as your guests will see it: scroll through it. The couple, the places and the photos are sample content.
