Painted stage set
Sample photos are made with AI.
An amateur company's stage on opening night: black curtains, a painted backdrop with an imagined castle, and your names as cut-out letters on the boards.
Függöny fel opens on a small stage seen from the front row: between black velvet curtains hangs a painted backcloth with an imagined castle on its crag, and in front of it your names stand on the boards as big cut-out wooden letters in the spotlight, their shadows falling on the painted sky. When it opens, the painted front curtain rises, the spotlight comes on and the letters stand up. Further down every chapter is a new scene: a painted drop comes down over the bigger ones, the details are notes pinned to the company's noticeboard, the programme follows the prompt book's running order, and the wedding party is the playbill's cast list. Your own cover photo goes on stage as the backcloth, the names still stand on the black masking, and no text ever goes on the photo. Abril Fatface headings, Brygada 1918 text and three colourways: Opening night, Dawn and Moonlight.
